Wine Stopper

While everyone loves jewelry there are also so many projects that you can do with resin.
With the holidays right around the corner a wine stopper is a great hostess gift.

This wine stopper is from Aanraku Glass Studios. They have loads of pieces that work perfectly with resin! You can check out what they offer here: http://store.abasg.com/mm5/merchant.mvc

The bezel piece is a 1 inch circle which makes it a breeze if you have a 1 inch paper punch.

Seal the image with a few coats of Mod Podge...

I nestled the wine stopper in a bowl of sand to get it level...

Mix up a batch of EasyCast resin and fill the bezel piece.
*ETI recommends wearing gloves for your safety* Gloves also help keep your nails nice!

Let this set for 24-72 hours to harden.

I realized after I finished the piece that the topper unscrews to make it easier to wash without worrying about the resin area!

This would be a great gift to go with a bottle of wine or champagne!
