Sequin and Glitter Bauble Necklaces

These are so cute and simple and can be filled with all sorts of pretty things. When I have left over resin these are a great way to use it!

This is a cabochon mold from Yaley Enterprises.

They make resin and Deep Flex Resin Molds along with a variety of colorants.
Check out all the offer here: http://yaley.com/SitePages.asp?ID=46

Spray the mold with Castin' Crafts Mold Release and Mix up a batch of EasyCast Resin.

*ETI suggests wearing gloves when working with resin for safety* Gloves also help keep your nails nice :)

Fill the mold cavities almost full and add fillings with a toothpick.
Let set for 24 -72 hours to harden.

This set is filled with sequins.
The top 2 mixes of sequins are from Neat and Tangled and the bottom 2 mixes are from My Crafty Spot.

This set is filled with tinsel glitter.
The top is red and green; the bottom is silver and gold.

To turn these into pendants attach bails with E-6000. These also make nice rings!
Let the glue set for 24 hours to reach maximum adhesion.

The bails I'm using are Silver Medium Leaf Bails by Aanraku Glass Studios.
They make wonderful metal pieces that work great with resin.
Check out all they offer here: http://store.abasg.com/mm5/merchant.mvc

Once the glue has dried attach to coordinating necklaces. These would be great stocking stuffers or gifts for all ages!
